01. Weekend
Weekend are the first vacation time to
avoid. Weekends in Indonesia are Saturday and Sunday. Some schools and offices
in Indonesia are off on Saturdays and will take full holidays on Sundays.
Weekends are vacation times for many families in Indonesia. Therefore, tourist

04. Eid Holidays
Eid holidays are a very busy time. Many
Indonesians living in cities will return to their villages or travel to various
places for vacation. Tourist attractions will be very crowded and traffic
jams will occur everywhere. Eid holidays are determined by the Hijri calendar
which falls on the 1st of Shawwal every year. When converted to the Christian

05. Rainy Season

The rainy
season is a time that must also be avoided. During the rainy season,
various natural tourist sites will be slippery and difficult to pass. Sea waves
are also high, so dangerous for marine tourism. So even with rivers whose
currents sometimes become dangerous. The rainy season in Indonesia is
March to September. In some places in eastern Indonesia, the rainy season is
shorter. So, it's better to come in the dry season. However, visitors must
prepare their physical condition as well as possible because the dry season is
sometimes very hot, especially for tourists from Europe and America. But the
